Dan Drawbaugh, a former executive at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, has been named CEO of both the Steadman Clinic and the Steadman Philippon Research Institute.
The announcement, made today by Marc Philippon, MD, managing partner of TSC and co-chair of SPRI, puts Mr. Drawbaugh in his new positions immediately.
Mr. Philippon said that Mr. Drawbaugh's 30 years of experience at UPMC, the largest integrated healthcare delivery system in Pennsylvania, most recently as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer, makes him uniquely qualified to both organizations.
Mr. Drawbaugh has served in a leadership capacity on several boards, including advisory boards for Oracle and IBM.
The Steadman Clinic is a world-renowned sport-medicine orthopedic clinic with three facilities located in Colorado.
The Steadman Philippon Research Institute provides orthopedic research and education on rehab, arthritis and injury prevention.
