8 spine surgeons with new leadership roles

Here are eight spine surgeons who were recently named to leadership positions.

Daniel Yoshor, MD, was named chair of neurosurgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.

 

Gregory LeBleu, MD, will serve as the medical director of Leesville (La.) Rehabilitation Hospital and Leesville-based Tri Parish Rehabilitation Hospitals.

 

Elmhurst (Ill.) Hospital named Richard Byrne, MD, medical director of neurosurgical services.

 

The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia named John M. Flynn, MD, chief of the division of orthopedic surgery.

 

The North American Spine Society named Heidi Prather, DO, president at the annual meeting in San Francisco.

 

Peter Nakaji, MD, and Peter Vajkoczy, MD, signed on as editor-in-chiefs of Thieme eNeurosurgery.

 

John P. Dormans, MD, was named president of the Scoliosis Research Society board of directors.
