St. Mary's Hospital in Waterbury has a new O-Arm for use during spinal procedures, according to a News 8 report.

The technology allows surgeons to map out the procedure preoperatively before performing the procedure. It also enhances precision and shows where the instruments are in relation to the patient's anatomy for less invasive procedures, according to David Forshaw, MD, a neurosurgeon at St. Mary's who was quoted in the report.
