Spine

The North American Spine Society created evidence-based coverage policy recommendations for spine care treatments, procedures and diagnostics.

The NASS Coverage Task Force developed the recommendations for payers, patients and spine care providers on several topics, including cervical artificial disc replacement, interspinous device without fusion, interspinous fixation with fusion, laser spine surgery, lumbar artificial disc replacement and recombinant human bone morphogenetic protein.

There are 13 procedures covered in these initial recommendations.
