6 Hospitals & Practices Expanding Orthopedics Programs

Here are six hospitals and practices recently expanding orthopedic and spine programs. Holland (Mich.) Hospital announced its $10 million spine, neurosurgery and orthopedic unit expansion is nearly completed.

Tucson (Ariz.) Medical Center opened a four-story orthopedic and surgical tower.

Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush in Chicago announced the opening of the MOR Hand, Wrist & Elbow Institute.

Charlotte, N.C.-based OrthoCarolina announced that it has added orthopedic urgent care services to its Ballantyne office in Charlotte.

Mission Health, Asheville, N.C.-based health system, announced the opening of Mission Spine & Back Pain Center in Asheville.

Community Hospital in Munster, Ind., began a $33 million expansion project in January, which now includes the expansion of its Neuroscience Intensive Care and Neuroscience Immediate Care units.
