The Nebraska Spine Hospital, a three-way joint venture between the Nebraska Spine Center, Alegent Health and Health Inventures, recently celebrated its first year in service, according to a Health Inventures news release. During its first year, the hospital served 1,230 patients, which is 15 percent more than was projected. The hospital also served patients from more than 17 states and Canada over the past year.

The hospital completed licensing and accreditation before the end of 2010, and now reports being on the 98th percentile among hospitals nationally for patient satisfaction, according to a HealthStream survey. The hospital also has certification from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
