Dr. John Prunskis to speak at Brazilian Society of Interventional Pain Physicians' congress

John Prunskis, MD, has been invited to speak at the II Congress of the Brazilian Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, SOBRAMID, in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Dr. Prunskis is the medical director of Elgin-based Illinois Pain Institute and founder of the Barrington (Ill.) Pain and Spine Institute, an ambulatory surgery center. He has also completed his residency and fellowship in pain management at the University of Chicago.

 

Dr. Prunskis will be presenting on use of opioid analgesics in chronic pain; diagnosis and treatment of lumbar facet pain; and complications in percutaneous procedures for vertebral compression fractures at the congress.
