Morristown, N.J.-based Atlantic Neurosurgical Specialists launched an awareness campaign to educate the community.
The campaign aims at educating the public about the importance of choosing a neurosurgeon for an accurate diagnosis and to dismiss the idea that you only go to a neurosurgeon when surgery is needed. The practice launched the campaign in response to the rising popularity of "boutique surgeries" being offered by less qualified specialists, according to the news release.
The practice focuses on the treatment of stroke, back pain, brain tumors, brain aneurysms, spinal disorders and traumatic brain injury. It has seven offices throughout New Jersey.
