6 Hospitals & Health Systems Expanding Spine Programs

Here are six hospitals and health systems that are investing in expanding their spine programs.

Great Plains Regional Medical Center in North Platte, Neb., opened a comprehensive spine center in North Platte.

 

Cincinnati-based TriHealth and the Mayfield Clinic, also in Cincinnati, have formalized an agreement to provide expanded, comprehensive neurosurgery services to patients at the TriHealth system.

 

Emory Saint Joseph's Hospital in Atlanta established a dedicated orthopedic joint and spine center.

 

Pasco, Wash.-based Lourdes Health Network will soon open a new inpatient unit as part of its Joint & Spine Center.

 

Boone, N.C.-based Watauga Medical Center, part of Appalachian Regional Healthcare System, recently added several new surgical options, including spine surgery.

 

Carolina Neurosurgery & Spine Associates, in coordination with Carolinas Medical Center, is making a new local neurosurgical residency program in Charlotte, N.C., a reality.
