Andrews Spine Institute and Baptist Hospital in Gulf Breeze, Fla., have begun to offer surgery with Medtronic's O-arm interoperable imaging platform.
The O-arm platform is designed for use in spine and orthopedic surgery and provides real-time anatomical imaging in two and three dimensions.
With the O-arm, ASI surgeons will be able to operate with more precision in placement of surgical hardware. This precision is helpful in reducing the time a patient needs to heal from a surgical procedure.
