1. 28 percent of orthopedists reported spending 30 to 40 hours per week seeing patients.

2. 21 percent of orthopedists reported spending fewer than 30 hours per week seeing patients.

3. 21 percent of orthopedists reported spending 40 to 50 hours per week seeing patients.

4. 24 percent of orthopedists had on average 50 to 75 patient visits per week.

5. 20 percent reported100 to 124 patient visits per week.

6. 19 percent of orthopedists reported an average of 76 to 99 patient visits per week.

7. 13 percent of orthopedists have 125 to 149 patient visits per week.

8. 33 percent of orthopedists spend one to four hours per week seeing patients in the hospital.

10. 12 percent spend 10 to 14 hours per week seeing patients in the hospital.
