Gabriel Garcia-Diaz, MD, has joined Mercy Medical Center in Merced, Calif., as the center's first spine surgeon, according to the Merced Sun-Star. Dr. Garcia-Diaz is an orthopedic surgeon with a subspecialty in spine surgery. He often performs minimally invasive procedures. He maintains an independent practice and will coordinate care with other area physicians.
