Neel AnandNeel Anand, MD (Cedars-Sinai Spine Center, Los Angeles). Dr. Anand is the director of spine trauma at the Cedars-Sinai Spine Center with a primary area of research in minimally invasive surgical techniques for spinal disorders and trauma. Throughout his career, Dr. Anand has been involved in developing emerging technologies for non-fusion procedures and is the principal investigator for several FDA investigational device exemption studies. 

 

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Anand authored several studies and presented at major academic meetings. He also conducts teaching courses for spine surgery. He is a member of the North American Spine Society, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and Scoliosis Research Society.

 

Dr. Anand earned his medical degree from the University of Bombay, Topiwala National Medical College in India. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Bombay, the Regional College of Surgeons of England in London, the Royal Liverpool University Hospital and Albert Einstein College of Medicine Orthopedic Program at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center in New York.

 

He also underwent a scoliosis fellowship and trauma fellowship at Hospital for Special Surgery and Cornell University in New York.
