Pierce Nunley, MD, is a spine surgeon at the Spine Institute of Louisiana in Shreveport. Dr. Nunley also serves as the institute's director.
Board certified in spine and orthopedic surgery, Dr. Nunley is a board member of the American College of Spine Surgery. He also serves the North American Spine Society, Southern Orthopaedic Association and Louisiana State Medical Society.
Dr. Nunley is a clinical instructor at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. Additionally, he serves as an assistant professor in the university's department of orthopedic surgery.
After earning his medical degree from the University of Kansas Medical College in Kansas City, Dr. Nunley completed his internship and residency at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center. Dr. Nunley is also fellowship trained from the University of Basel in Switzerland and the Dallas Spine Group.
