Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Phillip Kravetz of Minimally Invasive Spine Institute

Phillip Kravetz, MD, is an orthopedic spine surgeon at Dallas-based Minimally Invasive Spine Institute.

Dr. Kravetz has performed minimally invasive spine surgeries since 2001 and treats scoliosis with MIS techniques, as well.  

 

Dr. Kravetz has lectured about spine surgery all over the world and teaches fellow spine surgeons new techniques in the Dallas area. Dr. Kravetz's main interests include treating adult and pediatric spinal tumors, herniated discs, spinal deformity and other spinal problems.

 

Dr. Kravetz obtained his medical degree from Ann Arbor-based University of Michigan before interning at Chicago-based Rush University. He then went on to complete his residency in orthopedics at Detroit-based Henry Ford Hospital and his spine surgery fellowship at Houston-based Baylor College of Medicine.
