Daniel Fahim, MD, is a board certified neurosurgeon at the Michigan Head and Spine Institute. Additionally, he is the director of the spine and brain tumor program at Beaumont Hospital-Royal Oak, and an associate professor at the William Beaumont School of Medicine.

Dr. Fahim earned his medical degree from the University of Michigan Health System. He then had an internship in general surgery at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, before he completed his neurosurgery residency at the Baylor College of Medicine.

 

Dr. Fahim treats brain and spine tumors and performs minimally invasive spine surgery.

 

Dr. Fahim has won several awards for his research. The scope of his research is on minimally invasive spine surgery, complex spine reconstruction and the management of brain tumors in high functional areas, among other things.

 

Dr. Fahim is certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery and is a member of several professional societies.
