Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Craig Eberson of University Orthopedics

Providence, R.I.-based University Orthopedics' Craig Eberson, MD, is the chief of pediatric orthopedics at Hasbro Children's Hospital, also in Providence. He also serves as an orthopedic surgery associate professor at Brown University's Alpert Medical School in Providence.

Dr. Eberson specializes in treating scoliosis, spinal disorders and pediatric fractures, among other conditions. His research focuses on treating spinal disorders with a minimally invasive techniques as well as treating pediatric musculoskeletal injuries.

 

Dr. Eberson earned his medical degree from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick. He then completed his orthopedic residency at Brown University, where he also completed his pediatric and adult orthopedic trauma fellowship. Dr. Eberson completed his pediatric orthopedics and scoliosis fellowship at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas.
