Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Kevin McGuire of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center

Kevin J. McGuire, MD, is a spine surgeon at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.

His clinical interests include adult spine surgery, cervical spine surgery, minimally invasive spine surgery and tumors of the spinal column.

 

Dr. McGuire earned his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and completed his fellowship at the University Hospital of Cleveland at Case Western Reserve in spine surgery. He also completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Pennsylvania Health System.

 

Dr. McGuire is co-director of the Spine Center at Beth Israel Deaconess, as well as co-director of the combined Beth Israel Deaconess/Harvard Medical School Spine Fellowship. He is also chief of orthopedic spine service at Beth Israel Deconess Medical Center and an assistant professor in orthopedic surgery at Harvard Medical School.
