Board-certified orthopedic surgeon Christopher R. Good, MD, is the director of research at Virginia Spine Institute in Reston.
Specializing in cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine conditions, Dr. Good treats complex spinal deformities. He performs minimally invasive and motion-preserving surgery. Dr. Good performed the first robotic-guided sacroiliac fusion surgery in North America.
A fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Good is also a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedics Surgeons, North American Spine Society and Scoliosis Research Society, among others.
After earning his medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine, Dr. Good completed an orthopedic surgery residency at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York. He finished his education with an adult and pediatric spinal surgery fellowship at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis with Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis Children's Hospital and Shriners Hospital for Children.
