Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Bradley Weiner of Houston Methodist

Bradley Weiner, MD, is an orthopedic spine surgeon practicing at Houston Methodist in Texas. He specializes in complex surgeries of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spines in additional to being a recognized leader in spinal microsurgery.

Dr. Weiner is the recipient of several awards for spinal research as well as several teaching awards. He is a member of many societies including the American Orthopaedic Association, International Society for the Lumbar Spine and "Best Doctors in America." Dr. Weiner is the author of 200 publications on spine surgery.

 

He attended medical school at Northeastern Ohio Universities and went on to complete a residency in orthopedic surgery from Akron City Hospital in Ohio. He completed a visiting residency in orthopedic pathology from Harvard Medical School. Dr. Weiner completed a spine surgery fellowship from Royal Adelaide Hospital in Australia.
