Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Robert Bollo of University of Utah Health Care

Dr. Robert Bollo is a pediatric neurosurgeon practicing at the University of Utah Health Care. He specializes in brain tumors, spine surgery, spinal cord tumors and traumatic brain injury among others.

Dr. Bollo attended medical school at Boston University School of Medicine. He went on to complete a residency in neurological surgery at New York University Medical Center and Bellevue Hospital in Ohio. Dr. Bollo completed a fellowship in pediatric neurosurgery at the University of Utah.

 

He was appointed assistant professor of neurosurgery at Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children's Hospital in Houston until April 2013. Dr. Bollo joined the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Utah School of Medicine in May 2013.
