Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Jeff Roh of ProOrtho

Jeff Roh, MD, is president, and a board member, of ProOrtho, a division of Proliance Surgeons in Seattle. He also provides care at Kirkland, Wash.-based EvergreenHealth, where he serves on the Medical Executive Committee and Credentials Committee. He is president and a board member of the Puget Sound Spine Society, as well as president-elect and board member of the Korean American Spine Society. In addition, he is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and North American Spine Society.

Dr. Roh focuses on minimally invasive spine surgery, including MIS approaches for spinal disorders, MIS spinal decompression procedures and MIS stabilization procedures. He also has expertise in computer-assisted spinal navigation surgery. His hospital affiliations also include Overlake Hospital Medical Center in Bellevue, Wash., and Swedish Hospital Medical Center in Seattle. He has served as the principal investigator for numerous trials of new devices and technology.

 

Dr. Roh earned his medical degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee and completed his residency at the University Hospitals of Cleveland, Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He has also completed the Allen Scholar Research Fellowship at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine as well as a spine and scoliosis surgery fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery, New York Presbyterian Hospital and Cornell University, Weill Medical College.
