Nizam Razack, MD, JD, is founder and president of Spine & Brain Neurosurgery Center in Orlando. He is a former chairman of the department of neurological surgery for Orlando Health, where he also serves as a member of the Joint Sections Tumor. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and American Association of Neurological Surgeons as well as a diplomate of the American Board of Neurological Surgery.
Dr. Razack is also an assistant clinical professor in the department of neurosurgery for the University of Central Florida College of Medicine in Orlando. He is a medical resource for the Florida legal community. He is one of the only board-certified neurosurgeons in the United States who is licensed to practice law in the state of Florida.
Dr. Razack earned his medical degree at the State University of New York at Buffalo and completed his residency at the University of Miami. He has completed three post-doctoral fellowships — reconstructive and complex spine surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.; neurosurgical oncology at the M.D. Anderson Cancer in Houston; and orthopedic spine deformities at the Rancho Los Amigos Medical Center in Los Angeles.
