Spine Surgeon Leader to Know: Dr. Brian Gill of Nebraska Spine Center

J. Brian Gill, MD, is an orthopedic spine surgeon providing care at Nebraska Spine Center in Omaha. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons and a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Orthopaedic Association Emerging Leaders Program and North America Spine Society.

Dr. Gill focuses his practice on minimally invasive cervical and lumbar spine surgeries, deformity and degenerative conditions as well as workers compensation injuries. He was the AAOS Resident Liaison from 2006 and 2008. In 2007, he won the AAOS/OREF Traveling Fellowship. He is also a reviewer for numerous professional journals, including Spine, Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery, Anesthesia & Analgesia and Osteoporosis International.

Furthermore, providing this quality care in a cost-effective manner," says Dr. Gill. Dr. Gill earned his medical degree at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, where he also completed his orthopedic residency. He has completed a fellowship in adult spinal surgery at Durham, N.C.-based Duke University Medical Center.
