Spine Surgeon Leader to Know: Dr. Bryan Oh of BASIC Spine

Bryan Oh, MD, is an orthopedic spine surgeon with BASIC Spine in Orange, Calif. He is a member of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons and the American Association of Neurological Surgeons. He is also a reviewer for journals, including Neurosurgery and World Neurosurgery.
Dr. Oh is board certified in neurological surgery. His clinical interests include lumbar and cervical microdiscectomies, artificial disc replacement, microsurgical spine surgery, minimally invasive spine surgery and spinal cord stimulation.

"There is an understanding changes are coming from ObamaCare, and spine surgeons have to find creative strategies to solve these new issues," said Dr. Oh, in a Becker's Spine Review article. "There might be ideas that they hadn't thought of in the past and having the framework to present these strategies to carriers as well as execute them successfully would benefit spine surgeons going forward."

Dr. Oh earned his medical degree from Stanford (Calif.) University School of Medicine. He completed his residency and a spine fellowship at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. Follow Dr. Oh on Google+.
