Devin Datta, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at Crane Creek Surgery Center in Melbourne, Fla. He is also a spine surgeon at The BACK Center in Melbourne and chairman of the department of orthopedics at Holmes Regional Medical Center also in Melbourne. He is a member of the North American Spine Society and an associate member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Dr. Datta specializes in scoliosis surgery, cervical herniated discs, lumbar degenerative disc disease, lumbar spinal stenosis and minimally invasive neck and back surgeries. He is active in spinal research studies and is a key consultant for Medtronic.

Dr. Datta earned his medical degree at the University of Missouri-Kansas. He returned to the University of Missouri-Kansas to complete his residency. He has also completed a fellowship in spine surgery at Harvard University/Beth Israel Deaconess in Boston.
