Malcolm Bullock, MD, PhD, is the clinical director of the neurotrauma program at Jackson Memorial Hospital and a professor of neurological surgery at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Dr. Malcolm Bullock, neurologist from the University of MiamiHis clinical interests include vascular and general neurosurgery, as well as traumatic brain injury management. His research interests include pathomechanisms of traumatic brain injuries, neuroprotection trials, neuromonitoring and the role of stem cells in regeneration and repair.

Dr. Bullock has generated more than $11 million in research support for traumatic brain injuries and his current funding include a Department of Defense-funded trial of Oxycyte perfluorocarbon in sever human traumatic brain injuries.

Dr. Bullock's research has been published in many articles, clinical publications and textbook chapters. He has served as an elected permanent board member of the Congressionally-mandated Defense Health Board, president of the National Neurotrauma Society, president of the U.S. Neurotrauma Society and more.

He received his medical training in Birmingham, United Kingdom and his residency training in Durban, South Africa, and Glasgow, Scotland. He was the deputy editor of the Journal of Neurotrauma for 14 years.
