The Society for Advanced Spinal Intervention has announced its launch via the internet and has made known its initiatives and goals.
The society states its goals as providing training and education to physicians in the field spine care, including interventional pain physicians, interventional radiologists, neurosurgeons and orthopedic spine surgeons.

SASI has plans to establish a U.S. based training and credentialing program that will provide expertise for physicians around the world and eventually launch the program globally.

Soloman Kamson, MD, an interventional pain physician, is spearheading the society.
