Atlanta-based Interventional Management Services has acquired a minority interest in two Georgia pain management centers and has signed long-term management agreements with the surgery centers. IMS now has a part ownership at Southern Cross Surgery Center in Conyers and Pain Care Center of Georgia in Stockbridge.
The ASC management and development company has also submitted a request for a letter of non-reviewability to the Georgia Department of Community Health to develop an ASC for pain in southwest Atlanta.
Additionally, IMS is considering acquiring and developing a surgery center in Smyrna.
