Here are five orthopedic surgeons in the news this week.

Continental Who's Who honored Kenneth J. Kaminski, MD, as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in recognition of his contributions to the medical field.

 

Leon E. Popovitz, MD, joined the International Association of HealthCare Professionals with his upcoming publication in The Leading Physicians of the World.

 

James C. Wittig, MD, an orthopedic and oncology surgeon with Hackensack (N.J.) University Medical Center was featured in New York Magazine for the ninth year in a row as one of New York Metros best orthopedic surgeons.

 

Robert J. Zehr, MD, performed the first total hip replacement at Naples, Fla.-based Landmark Hospital of Southwest Florida.

 

John Sherman, MD, used the AnchorKnot Tissue Approximation Kit to perform a herniated disc repair at Edina, Minn.-based Twin Cities Orthopedics.
