Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. Sean Grey of Orthopaedic & Spine Center of the Rockies

Sean Grey, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon practicing at Fort Collins, Colo.-based Orthopaedic & Spine Center of the Rockies.

Dr. Hartman specializes in sports medicine and treats shoulder and elbow injuries. He performs total shoulder replacement, rotator cuff repaid, reverse shoulder arthroplasty/replacement, arthroscopic procedures of the shoulder and clavicle and elbow reconstruction.

 

Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr. Grey has a subspecialty in orthopedic sports medicine.

 

He currently serves as a team physician for Colorado State University in Fort Collins and for the Colorado Eagles of the ECHL.

 

Dr. Grey regularly participates in research studies on various aspects of shoulder replacement surgery and works with other surgeons to improve total shoulder implant designs.

 

Dr. Grey graduated from the University of Cincinnati School of Medicine before interning and completing his residency training at Denver-based University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. He then underwent fellowship training in sports medicine at Orthopaedic Associates of Aspen (Colo.) through an affiliation with the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.
