9 orthopedists present at Erlanger Health System orthopedic symposium

Chattanooga, Tenn.-based Erlanger Health System hosted an orthopedic symposium earlier this month. The conference, which took place on April 8 at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, covered a wide variety of orthopedic topics and specialties.

Here's what the nine surgeons presented about:

 

1. Matthew Higgings, MD, of Chattanooga-based UT Erlanger Orthopaedics spoke about different approaches to total hip replacement.

 

2. Jesse Doty, MD, of Chattanooga-based UT Erlanger Foot and Ankle Institute spoke about foot and ankle rehab.

 

3. Jeremy Bruce, MD, of Chattanooga (Tenn.) Bone & Joint Surgeons spoke about ACL rehab.

 

4. David Bruce, MD, of Chattanooga (Tenn.) Bone & Joint Surgeons spoke about concussions.  

 

5. Mark G. Freeman, MD, of Chattanooga-based UT Erlanger Orthopaedics spoke about total and partial knee replacement.

 

6. Dale Ingram, MD, of Dayton, Tenn.-based University Orthopedics spoke about alternative therapies.

 

7. Warren Gardner, MD, of Chattanooga-based UT Erlanger Orthopaedics spoke about trauma and fractures.

 

8. Daniel Doty, MD, of Chattanooga, Tenn.-based Erlanger Health System spoke about upper extremity.

 

9. Peter Lund, MD, Chattanooga (Tenn.) Bone and Joint Surgeons spoke about hand care.
