Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. David Anderson of Twin Cities Orthopedics

David R. Anderson, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at Minneapolis-based Twin Cities Orthopedics.

Dr. Anderson specializes in sports injuries, arthroscopy of the knee and shoulder, ACL reconstruction, shoulder instability and rotator cuff pathology, total joint replacement and fracture care. He serves as a faculty member for the orthopedic sports surgery fellowship training program affiliated with Minneapolis-based Institute of Athletic Medicine and Minneapolis-based Minnesota Sports Medicine.

 

With clinical interests in ankle care, elbow care, hip care, knee care, shoulder care and sports medicine, Dr. Anderson treats Minnesota State High School League athletes and more. He is affiliated with the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy Association of North America.

 

Dr. Anderson graduated from Omaha-based Creighton University School of Medicine, completed his residency at Chicago-based Northwestern University and completed a sports medicine fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.
