Philip Blazar, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at Boston-based Brigham and Women's Hospital.

Dr. Blazar currently serves as director of the Harvard hand and upper extremity surgery fellowship and as associate professor of orthopedic surgery at Boston-based Harvard Medical School. His clinical interests include arthritis, arthroscopic surgery, carpal tunnel syndrome, hand and nerve injuries, wrist instability and more. His surgery interests deal with hand and wrist arthritis, distal radius fractures, surgical complications and validity of levels of evidence.

 

Dr. Blazar obtained his medical degree at Harvard Medical School before completing his orthopedic surgery residency and hand surgery fellowship at the Philadelphia-based University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.
