Jack E. Jensen, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at Houston-based Athletic Orthopedics & Knee Center, a practice he founded.

Dr. Jensen specializes in treating knee injuries and conditions and he is a former associate editor of Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise.

 

Dr. Jensen is a fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine and has treated athletes at the Goodwill Games, World Championships of Gymnastics, U.S. Olympic Training Center and at Olympic Games. He has also served as an orthopedic consultant to the U.S. Gymnastic Federation, a team physician for Karolyi's Gymnastics, USA Swimming Foundation and Association of Tennis Professionals.

 

Dr. Jensen obtained his medical degree from the University of Kansas at Kansas City before completing his orthopedic surgery residency at Houston-based University of Texas and his sports medicine fellowship at Eugene-based University of Oregon.
