Franklin, Tenn.-based Williamson Medical Center has been awarded The Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval for Hip Replacement, Knee Replacement and Spine Surgery Certification, according to Spring Hill Home Page.
Here's what you need to know:
1. The Gold Seal of Approval for Hip Replacement, Knee Replacement and Spine Surgery Certification recognition is based on three core areas: compliance with national standards, use of clinical practice guidelines and a focus on performance measurement and improvement activities.
2. To earn this designation, Williamson Medical Center submitted to an on-site review in October 2016.
3. This gold seal of approval is awarded for a two-year period.
