Jackson, N.J.-based NorthEast Spine & Sports Medicine recently began offering joint injection treatment for patients suffering from knee pain.

Here's what you should know.

1. The injections are for patients suffering from inflammatory joint conditions, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis and several other conditions.

2. The injections eliminate pain caused by a lack of joint cartilage, and replenish fluid surrounding the joints.

3. Physicians give all injections through a fluoroscope to ensure the medication is properly distributed.
