1. Dr. Shapiro is an orthopedic surgeon at the Rochester, Minn.-based Rochester Clinic. He is speaking on the different sources and types of stem cells.
2. His presentation is aimed at the consumer. It provides guidance on how consumers can pursue regenerative medicine treatments.
3. Dr. Shapiro is one of eight physicians speaking at the summit. The Mayo Clinic is also bringing Saranye Wyles who is an MD and PhD candidate.
