Here are seven orthopedic surgeons in the news this past week.

Steven Page, MD, is joining the staff of Sarasota (Fla.) Orthopedic Associates.

 

Patrick Smith, MD, was named the Pennsylvania Orthopaedic Society's 61st president.

 

Susan Jordan, MD, and Sharrona Williams, MD, were among several professionals that participated in The Perry Initiative, which encourages women in high school and college to pursue careers in engineering and orthopedics.

 

Andrew Ertl, MD, joined Sauk Prairie (Wis.) Healthcare.

 

James Andrews, MD, performed arthroscopic knee surgery on the Kansas City Chiefs' running back Jamaal Charles.
