Marc T. Galloway, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at Cincinnati SportsMedicine and Orthopaedic Center, a practice with offices in Mason, Ohio; Crestview Hills, Ky., and Cincinnati. He specializes in athletic injuries, arthroscopic surgery and soft tissue reconstructive procedures, with a particular focus on knee and shoulder injuries.

He is the head team physician for the Cincinnati Bengals football team, and holds memberships with the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine. He is currently on a research team at the University of Cincinnati, which has received funding from the NIH to develop bioengineered replacements for tendon injuries.

 

Dr. Galloway earned his medical degree at Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, N.C. He went on to complete his orthopedic residency at Yale New Haven Hospital in Connecticut and his fellowship in sports medicine, biomechanics and arthroscopy at Cincinnati SportsMedicine and Orthopaedic Center.
