York, Pa.-based WellSpan Orthopedics added Anthony Helwig, DO, to its team, according to Lebanon Daily News.
Here are five observations:
1. WellSpan Orthopedics was previously named, Lebanon Orthopedic Associates, and joined WellSpan Medical Group last September.
2. WellSpan Orthopedics was the first Lebanon County independent physician group to formally align with WellSpan Health since WellSpan added Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon County in July.
3. Dr. Helwig earned his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
4. Following medical school, he underwent his orthopedic residency at the same institution.
