Matthew Provencher, MD, is joining The Steadman Clinic and Steadman Philippon Research Institute in Vail, Colo.

1. Dr. Provencher has served as chief of the sports medicine service at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston since 2013.
2. He was the medical director and head team physician for the New England Patriots.
3. He will focus on treatment and rehabilitation of injuries to the knee and shoulder.
4. He has received numerous academic and research awards including the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine Aircast Award.
5. He has also been awarded numerous traveling fellowships, including the American Orthopaedic Association John Fahey North American Traveling Fellowship and the American-British-Canadian Fellowship.
