Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. Gerard Adler of Aurora Wilkinson Medical Center

Board-certified in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine, Gerard G. Adler, MD, practices at Aurora (Wis.) Wilkinson Medical Center. From 1997 to 1999, he served as chief of surgery at Oconomowoc (Wis.) Memorial Hospital. Dr. Adler currently is the medical director of the Aurora Sports Medicine Institute in Oconomowoc.

The American Journal of Sports Medicine published Dr. Adler's academic article about the anterior cruciate ligament. He serves as the team physician for Oconomowoc High School.

 

Dr. Adler earned his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine in Madison. Following medical school, he underwent his residency at Grand Rapids (Mich.) Area Medical Education Center.
