2. Dr. Popovitz is internationally renowned for his expertise in arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder and knee as well as sports medicine.
3. He served as a team physician for the U.S. Open Tennis Championships and treated professional American athletes as well as international professional athletes and dancers.
4. The Global Jewish Assistance and Relief Network has honored Dr. Popovitz for his philanthropic efforts.
