Southern California Orthopedic Institute welcomed two orthopedic surgeons.
Brian Dierckman, MD, and Eric I. Ferkel, MD, joined Southern California Orthopedic Institute in Van Nuys. Both have a special interest in sports medicine.
Dr. Dierckman earned his medical degree at Indiana University School of Medicine and completed his residency at Emory University. His additional training includes a fellowship in orthopedic sports medicine at Southern California Orthopedic Institute and he spent three years in private practice before joining the group.
Dr. Ferkel earned his medical degree at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Southern California. His additional training includes a fellowship in sports medicine and arthroscopy at New England Baptist Hospital and Boston Children's Hospital and foot and ankle surgery training at OrthoCarolina Foot and Ankle Institute.
"Dr. Dierckman and Dr. Ferkel join us with a wealth of knowledge and skill in helping sports medicine and foot and ankle patients return to their active lifestyles," said Ronald P.
