Dr. Jason Rogers joins Harbin Clinic: 5 key notes

Jason Rogers, MD, joined Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine at Harbin Clinic, according to a report in Northwest Georgia News.

Here are five things to know about Dr. Rogers:

 

1. He has a special interest in adult hip and knee reconstruction, as well as general orthopedics. He performs complex total knee replacement, unicompartmental and patellofemoral replacements and ACL sparing knee replacements. He is trained in the anterior minimally invasive hip replacement approach.

 

2. He earned his medical degree at The University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock.

 

3. He completed an adult hip and knee reconstructive fellowship at the Southern Joint Replacement Institute in Nashville, Tenn.

 

4. Dr. Rogers is expected to begin practice with Harbin Clinic on Sept. 1.

 

5. He has extensive experience with revision joint replacement procedures as well. He grew up in the area where he is returning to practice.
