Sonu Ahluwalia, MD, performed knee surgery on Sean Combs, also known as P. Diddy, according to a Contact Music report.

1. Mr. Combs — the rapper, record producer, actor and entrepreneur — has been putting the surgery off for two years, according to a post on his Instagram account.
2. Dr. Ahluwalia is the clinical chief of the division of orthopedic surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
3. Dr. Ahluwalia previously served as an assistant physician for the New York Jets and the New York Islanders.
4. He completed a fellowship in shoulder surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School in Boston; another in sports medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York and a third in joint replacement and preservation surgery at Brigham and Women's Hospital/Harvard Medical School in Boston.
