Blue Ridge Orthopaedic Foundation, established by Gainesville, Va.-based Blue Ridge Orthopaedic & Spine Center, donated more than $28,000 to 21 nonprofits in Fauquier and Prince William Counties, according to a Fauquier Times report.
Here are three quick facts:
1. The foundation donated proceeds from its May Bodies in Motion 5k and 10k events.
2. The foundation gave donations to several organizations for the first time this year,including Fauquier County Public Schools and Team Green World.
3. Other nonprofits to receive donations include the Boys and Girls Club of Fauquier, Girls on the Run Piedmont and Mental Health Association of Fauquier County.
