Children's Health System of Texas, based in Dallas, and orthopedic surgeon James Andrews, MD, have partnered to create the Children's Health Andrews Institute for Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, according to a D Healthcare Daily report.
The new, freestanding orthopedics and sports medicine institute will be located near the health system's Plano, Texas campus. The facility will offer injury prevention, rehabilitation and therapy tailored for pediatric patients.
The 96,000-square-foot facility is expected to reach completion next year, according to the report.
