Motus Global adds Drs. David Altchek, Joshua Dines as medical advisors

David Altchek, MD, and Joshua Dines, MD, joined Motus Global as medical advisors.

Motus Global is a developer of commercially available wearable technology products designed to help athletes reduce injuries and optimize performance. The company is planning to launch its Motus Sleeve for amateur and professional baseball players in early 2015.

 

Dr. Altchek is an attending orthopedic surgeon and co-chief emeritus in the Sports Medicine & Shoulder Service at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York. He is the medical director for the New York Mets and a medical consultant for the NBA. Dr. Dines is a member of the Sports Medicine and Shoulder Service at HSS. He is an assistant team physician for the NY Mets and LI Ducks and an orthopedic sports medicine consultant for the New York Rangers.
